The Fourth of July
My experience that has greatly changed my life would have to be my senior year of high school football. The first game first quarter i was playing defense and offense and i ended up tearing my miniscus. So i had to have surgery, surprisingly the recovery time was only six weeks. since the recovery time was so short i was able to get back for the last regular season game. Now we havc made it to the playoffs. We played Wisner-Pilger first round of playoffs and won in over time. But i ended up tearing my acl that game. I did not go to the doctor so i had no idea what was wrong. Next game is west point beemer we play them and kill them, i played with a torn acl. So next we go to Columbus on halloween night to play Columbus Scotus. I play that whole game and we ended up shutting them out. So now it is the Semi-Finals and it is Bennington versus Wahoo Neumann, they are suppose to be amazing. So we start the game no one is scoring. We ended up losing to them by seven points. If we would have won we would of gone to play in the state championship in memorial stadium. So after the season is over i finally go to the doctor and see whats wrong with my knee. The day before surgery i go in and talk to one of the football coaches. I asked him what he thought about college football for me. "He said you were the best lineman on our team if you would have played this whole season you could have gone to any division two school on a full ride that you wanted to. But you know to be honest with you Mike i dont think football would be a good choice for you with your knees." So now that i know i cant play football it had changed my life. Football was my passion

I'm sorry that this dream didn't become reality for you, but maybe you can play just for fun? (Intra-murals, perhaps?)
